Where is The Pink Palms Villa located?
The Pink Palms Villa is located within the exclusive gated community of Palm Cay on the
southeastern coast of Nassau, Bahamas. Palm Cay is a secure waterfront community
featuring a private beach, marina, waterfront restaurant, fitness centre, tennis and
pickleball courts, and beautifully landscaped grounds.
How many guests can the villa accommodate?
Up to eight guests.

Is the villa suitable for children?
Yes. Palm Cay is ideal for families, with quiet streets, a private beach and playground.

Are pets allowed?
Pets may be approved in advance. Import requirements apply for animals entering The
Bahamas.
Is smoking permitted?
No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the villa

Is Palm Cay safe?
Yes. Palm Cay is one of Nassau's premier gated waterfront communities with 24-hour security and controlled access. Guests enjoy access to the private community while still being only 20–25 minutes from downtown Nassau. As with any destination, normal travel precautions are recommended when exploring outside the community.

Wheelchair Accessible?
No. Due to stairs, it is not fully wheelchair accessible.
Is it suitable for guests with limited mobility?
Please contact us before booking. In general, we do not recommend the villa for guests who cannot comfortably manage stairs.

Are parties or events allowed?
No. Parties and large gatherings are not permitted.

How far is the airport?
Do we need a rental car?
Approximately 30–40 minutes by car.
Do I need a rental car?
Not necessarily, although we recommend one for most visitors. Rental cars are available at
the airport and should be booked in advance.
Can airport transfers be arranged?
Yes. Our property manager can arrange airport transfers.

How do I check in? Someone meet us?
How do I check in?
Detailed self-check-in instructions are sent before arrival, including gate access, parking,
Wi-Fi and villa access.
Will someone meet us?
Check-in is normally self-service, although our local property manager will often stop by to
ensure everything is in order.

Tell me about the private beach and Beach Club.
The private beach is exclusively for Palm Cay residents and registered guests and is less
than a two-minute walk from the villa. The Beach Club includes loungers, umbrellas, food
and beverage service, a bar, lap pool and an adults-only area. The villa also provides
portable beach chairs. There are no lifeguards on duty.
Is the beach suitable for swimming, walking and snorkeling?
Yes. The water is generally calm year-round with little seaweed or current. The beach
stretches across several coves and is excellent for swimming, walking, paddleboarding and
casual snorkeling.

Can groceries be delivered before arrival? Chef?
Yes. Grocery delivery and pre-arrival stocking services are available.
Can we arrange a private chef?
Yes. Our property manager can assist.

Yes. High-speed Wi-Fi supports remote work and video calls.
Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Is there a coffee maker?
Yes. A drip coffee maker and a Nespresso machine are provided. We recommend bringing
Nespresso pods if you use them.
Is there a blender?
Yes.
Is there a BBQ?
Yes. A propane BBQ is provided.
Is there an outdoor dining area?
Yes.
Is there a washer and dryer?
Yes.
Are towels and linens provided?
Yes. Bath towels, beach towels and professionally laundered linens are included.

The villa is professionally cleaned before arrival. Additional housekeeping can be arranged.
Is the drinking water safe?
Yes. There is also a reverse-osmosis drinking water tap in the kitchen.
Is there air conditioning?
Yes. We recommend keeping it around 73°F to help control humidity.
What electrical system is used?
120V, Type A and B outlets—the same as Canada and the United States

Can I dock my boat?
Subject to availability and marina fees.
Can fishing charters pick us up?
Some can. Others depart from nearby marinas. We can recommend operators.
Is there a waterfront restaurant?
Yes.

Is there a gym?

Are there tennis and pickleball courts?
Yes. They are located within Palm Cay but separate from the Beach Club. Racquets and
paddles are provided.
Can I rent a golf cart or scooter?
Scooters are available. Golf carts are not.
Are paddleboards available?
Yes. Two paddleboards are provided at the villa.

Are there restaurants within walking distance?
The Pink Octopus restaurant is about a five-minute walk away. We also provide a Nassau
dining guide.

What currency is used?
Both Bahamian and U.S. dollars are accepted at par.
Do businesses accept credit cards?
Yes, almost all do.
